Chilean-Israeli artist currently based in Miami, FL. She creates sculptures and installation works by combining found objects and ready-to-use materials with colourful, textured and sometimes luminescent fabrics.

Through a practice of collecting and reusing, he accumulates materials with no specific purpose in mind, except to have them on hand and available to subtly shape the creation of his works. Recurring materials such as yoga balls, pool floats, glitter, ropes, hula-hoops and also their finished fabrics are reused over and over again over time. What was once presented as a finished work can easily become a starting point for a new work later on. Nothing is permanent, everything is transformed. His process is both an act of artistic appropriation of his materials, as well as a playful exploration of the infinite possibilities they offer him.

Treizman critically examines hyper-consumerism, but at the same time, paradoxically, participates in it, using commercial goods and disposable culture to create his work. He exposes his own way of dealing with excess: on the one hand, he questions the real need for single-use materials with vibrant patterns, like duct tape patterned with pink flamingos or purple plastic bubbles. On the other hand, he finds these playful materials absolutely irresistible. By incorporating them into her installations of found objects and unconventional fabrics, she invites the viewer to reflect on the mass-produced society in which we live.
