Twins Samantha Y Sarah

Born Miami, Florida · Live and work in Miami, Florida

BIOGRAPHY

Sarah and Samantha Ferrer are Cuban American twin artists whose individual practices intersect through ceramics, painting, installation, and a shared engagement with memory, popular culture, and the visual identity of Miami. Drawing on their Cuban heritage and their experience growing up in South Florida, their work explores girlhood, family, nostalgia, consumer culture, and ideas of paradise and belonging. Both artists studied Ceramics at the Kansas City Art Institute and later co-founded 2WIN! STUDIOS in Miami. Their work combines traditional ceramic processes with imagery drawn from domestic objects, nightlife, fashion, anime, advertising, and popular culture. While maintaining distinct individual practices, their collaborative projects transform personal and generational memories into immersive environments balancing humor, kitsch, cultural critique, and emotional intimacy.
