Samuel Dominguez

Samuel Domínguez is a Chilean artist working across sculpture, installation, moving image, and sound. His practice explores relationships between landscape, technology, scientific inquiry, and systems of knowledge, often focusing on plant migration, ecological transformation, and speculative approaches to the natural world.
Domínguez studied at Universidad Finis Terrae and the Maryland Institute College of Art and holds an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art in London. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museo de Artes Visuales and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Santiago. In 2021, he represented Chile at Ars Electronica in collaboration with Fundación Mustakis and ALMA Observatory, and in 2025 he received the Friends of Battersea Park Public Sculpture Award.
