Lucas Estévez is a visual artist whose practice develops at the intersection of painting, graphic language, abstraction, and contemporary digital culture. Through geometric structures, symbols, stencils, and repeated forms, he explores tensions between the mechanical and the organic and between physical experience and increasingly mediated environments. His work draws on histories of geometric and informal abstraction while incorporating references to interfaces, social media, popular culture, and digital communication. Estévez holds a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Painting from Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago. His work has been exhibited in Chile and internationally and is part of the collection of the Museo de Artes Visuales (MAVI), Santiago.
