BIOGRAPHY
Language and poetry occupy an important place within her work, alongside an interest in deterioration, disappearance, and the affective traces left by objects, gestures, and spaces over time. Lecaros holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her work has been presented in galleries, museums, and independent spaces in Chile and Argentina.
Her work has been exhibited in Chile and abroad, including at MAVI Museum; Departamento Jota and BSM Art Building in Buenos Aires; the Transfronteriza videoperformance series (APA) in Buenos Aires and Santiago; Galería Artespacio; Instituto Telearte; MAC Quinta Normal; Galería OMA; Museo de la Educación Gabriela Mistral; Galería Concreta at Centro Cultural Matucana 100; Galería Espora; Galería Balmaceda; and Galería NAC in Santiago.
She is currently represented by Mahara and Co Gallery in Miami. Her work is held in private collections, and she lives and works in Santiago, Chile.
