¿Qué pasa USA? by 2 win

SAVE THE DATE – July 25 | 6-9 PM 🗓✨
Join us for the inauguration of “Qué pasa, USA?” solo exhibition by the duo Sarah and Samantha Ferrer.
“Qué pasa, USA?” is more than just an exhibition. It’s an environment that invites you to be a part of it and the artists. It aims to activate personal and collective memories, breaking the veil between yesterday and today, like a poetic exploration of memory.
Sarah and Samantha Ferrer invite us to partake in an ode to cultural memory and the familial bonds that inhabit them. In a space built from nostalgia and art, personal experiences and memories converge, translated into objects and representations that evoke ceremonial rites, altars of faith, and events that, regardless of their ordinary nature, reveal themselves as transcendent for them.
About the artists:
Miami-born artists Samantha Noelia Ferrer and Sarah Ferrer draw on their Cuban roots to create a wide range of artworks. Both graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramics, and Samantha also specialized in Asian Studies. Their artistic practices include vibrant large-scale paintings, ceramic sculptures, and decorative vessels, all deeply influenced by their cultural heritage.
In 2022, the Ferrer twins co-founded 2WIN! STUDIOS with the aim of fostering the thriving ceramic culture in South Florida. With a shared passion for ceramics and experience in the Visual Arts Magnet Program at Miami’s New World School of the Arts, their collaborative efforts celebrate their cultural legacy while pushing the boundaries of contemporary art.
