BIOGRAPHY
Sebastián Baudrand is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice investigates the relationship between art, territory, architecture, and context. Moving across sculpture, installation, image-making, and research-based processes, he examines how social, geographic, and material conditions shape the ways spaces are inhabited and understood. Materiality plays a central role in his work. He frequently uses industrial, found, or locally available materials, transforming them through abstraction and site-responsive construction. Baudrand studied Architecture and Visual Arts in Santiago and later sculpture and printmaking in Mexico. His work has been exhibited in Chile, Mexico, the United States, France, Portugal, and Peru.
