Francisco Pero

Francisco Peró (Santiago, Chile, 1981) is a visual artist whose pictorial practice centers on the human figure as a site of tension between identity, memory, and perception. His paintings avoid psychological portraiture, relying instead on formal restraint, where body, posture, and space articulate states of silence and temporal suspension.
Trained in visual arts in Santiago, Chile, Peró develops a rigorously constructed painting practice characterized by precise compositions, a restrained chromatic palette—with a recurring presence of green—and an atmosphere that shifts narrative toward prolonged observation. His work has been presented in institutional exhibitions and international art fairs and is held in private and institutional collections.
